Meet Nathan, a 4th year student who is perfecting his skills as a future copywriter.  Nathan is an active member of the Temple Advertising Club (TAC), when asked what was the most beneficial aspect of TAC, Nathan replied:

"Temple Ad Club opens many doors to a lot of advertising opportunities, on campus and in the Philadelphia area.  TAC also offers opportunities such as national events such as NSAC, national conferences and a lot of guest speakers from the Philly Ad Club. I learned a lot from it as well as getting good internships."

As learning and developing his persuasive attitude towards the world of advertising, Nathan hopes to get a a job in an advertising agency.  He feels that Temple has prepared him to fulfill such a job because of his skills and experience.

meet_student_darielleMeet Darielle, a 4th year student who is just itching to jump into the world of advertising. Darielle hopes to obtain a career in Account Management, she has prepared to accomplish her dreams by participating in an internship. We asked Darielle to share some input about her past internship:

"Last summer I interned at Ogilvy and
Mather in New York City. The most
beneficial aspect of it was witnessing the
fast paced agency experience and seeing how they interact with their various clients.
"

With this experience, Darielle has a better idea of where her future is headed.

Meet Carla, a 4th year Copywriting student who has a lot going for her. Carla has had a handful of internships but her best experience came from Philadelphia Style Magazine.  Carla learned a great deal in her Advanced Copy classes, here at Temple, and found it handy to apply that knowledge to her internship duties. She found that editing and constant proof reading was a must in order to get the right message. Carla's words of wisdom for aspiring copy students:

"With copywriting, you are constantly thinking of what is the best to promote a message, and how to make it better."
