Academic continuity is the process of planning to ensure that teaching continues after a disruptive incident. Academic continuity is intended to reduce disruptions to both the faculty’s ability to provide instruction and the student’s ability to receive instruction. Spans enrollment, retention, recruitment, faculty, course scheduling, graduation and more.
On February 2, 2012, Temple University launched our Mission Continuity Planning initiative for the schools and colleges. Since then, each school/college has identified the critical leaders who will serve on their dean's Readiness Team and direct the development of continuity plans for teaching, research, technology, buildings, operations and communication.
