Prof. Robert B. Wright will be greatly missed by Temple students, faculty, staff, and alums alike. All who have had the pleasure of studying or working with him know how uplifting his presence can be. Robert always has a kind word of encouragement to say at just the right moment. Robert came to Temple with impressive academic and administrative credentials. A graduate of Drake University (B.D. 1960) and Hartford Seminary Foundation (S.T.M. 1964; Ph.D. 1966), Robert held academic positions at Boston University (1966-67), Gettysburg College (1967-69), and Wilson College (1969-72) before arriving at Temple in 1972. During his over three decades at Temple University, he has served as a sage mentor to countless students and administrators alike.
