Current Research

Dr. Allen is currently engaged in a Sanskrit translation project which introduces and presents new renderings of the Vimsatika, a Buddhist text written by the philosopher Vasubandhu, and its critique in the Niralambanavada chapter of the Slokavartikam composed by the Hindu Mimamsa philosopher Kumarila Bhatta.
