Obtaining Grades

Academic History for current students can be viewed from the Records Channel in Self Service Banner (SSB). Log onto TUportal and choose either Academic History (for all semesters attended) or Final Grades for a particular semester.

Please note: Confidentiality of educational records in protected under FERPA. Temple University does not issue printed grade mailers.

During the grading period each semester, grades entered by faculty for undergraduate and graduate students are collected and updated daily at 5:00AM (ET), at which point students may view these grades through SSB. Professional schools may update grades on a different schedule.

The deadline for posting grades is 48 hours after the final exam or final assessment of the course. If you have questions concerning your grade(s) you should contact the instructor or the department offering the course.

Grades not entered by the deadline are converted to MG ("Missing Grade" for undergraduate and graduate students) or NR ("Not Recorded" for professional schools students) and updated to academic history, at which point they must be changed by the instructor through a Change of Grade request.

Former students must request an official transcript in order to view their grades.
