Grade Submissions

Final Grades must be entered within 48 hours after the last day of final exams at the University. Any grades that are not submitted by the due date and time will be recorded as "MG": Missing Grade.

The Pass/Fail grading scheme is not permitted for undergraduate courses.

Grades for undergraduate and graduate students will be updated to academic history daily at 5:00 AM (ET). Professional schools may update grades on a different schedule.

Grade Reporting Instructions

  • - Grading is accessed through the TUportal using Self-Service Banner (SSB).
  • - Grading instructions are available online through a simulated demonstration with a voice overview and screen shots of step-by-step processing at: http://www.temple.edu/cs/training/ssbgrades/

June 16, 2014 Last day to withdraw from Summer 2014 (session 1) courses
June 17, 2014

"W" grades updated to Academic History; Summer 2014 (session 1) and Extended Summer (XSP) final grading begins

July 2, 2014 at 4:00PM (ET) Summer 2014 (session 1) final grading for parts of term 1 (Standard) ends; “MG” symbol applied to missing grades
July 3, 2014 Summer 2014 (session 1) final grades with GPA recalculation available to students in SSB
August 4, 2014 Last day to withdraw from Summer 2014 (session 2) courses
August 5, 2014 "W" grades updated to Academic History; Summer 2014 (session 2) final grading begins
August 19, 2014 at 4:00PM (ET) Summer 2014 (session 2) final grading for parts of term 1 (Standard) and Extended Summer (XSP) ends; “MG” symbol applied to missing grades
August 20, 2014 Summer 2014 (session 2) final grades with GPA recalculation available to students in SSB

  • Any grade missing after the deadline will be converted to "MG".
  • All late grades must be submitted through the Change of Grade request
