Fox School of Business & Management
All undergraduate students are expected to review their DARS prior to meeting with an advisor (see each campus section for details). Students on probation are required to schedule an appointment prior to registration. Due to limited number of advising appointments and limited seats in classes, students are expected to register as soon as they are eligible and revise their schedules, if necessary, after meeting with an advisor.
School of Communications and Theater
Freshmen with fewer than 30 credits, transfer students in their first semester, interdepartmental majors, students on probation and students who have not yet declared a major should make an appointment at the SCT Advising Center, Room 9 Annenberg Hall. Call 215. 204.5273. All other students should contact the department of their major to be assigned to an advisor.
Continuing Education
The Main Campus office is located in the Academic Resource Center, 1810 Liacouras Walk, Suite 10l. Main Campus students are advised on a walk-in basis. Call 215.204.2500 for more information. Ambler students call 267.468.8200 and TUCC students call 215.204.4358 for appointments.
Distance and Summer Programs
Classes are taught via the Internet (using technologies such as E-mail, Listervs and Chat), Videoconferencing or a combination of both.
If you are a matriculated student, you should register for online and videoconferencing courses at owlnet.temple.edu. However, you may also register by e-mailing us at online@temple.edu or by calling us at 215.204.2712.
Visiting and non-matriculated students must register through the Office of Continuing Education (215) 204-2500.

College of Education
Applied Communications students should make an appointment with their faculty advisor by calling 215.204.6236. Other Education majors are assigned an academic advisor based on their program of study. Students who have not yet been admitted to candidacy should come to the Office of Student Services, 150 Ritter Annex, to make an appointment with their assigned advisor. Students admitted to candidacy should contact their faculty advisor.
College of Engineering
All freshmen students should report to the Office of Undergraduate Studies, Room 341, in the Engineering Building. All other day students should report directly to their major departments for advising. Evening students should call their academic department offices for an advising appointment.
College of Health Professions
Students with fewer than 60 credits in Communication Sciences, Public Health and Therapeutic Recreation are advised at 1700 N. Broad St., Room 310B (215.204.6799).

Honors Program
First semester Honors students in CLA, CST, SCT and University Studies need to sign up for an individual or group advising appointment with the Honors staff before registering. All Honors students should go to the Honors Website at www.temple.edu/honors and have a look at the University Honors Course Guide, Spring 2008 . We encourage all continuing students to discuss their plans with us periodically.
International Programs
Temple students are encouraged to enroll in courses offered at one of Temple’s campuses abroad. Liberal Arts
The Academic Advising Center, located on the third floor of 1810 Liacouras Walk, will advise freshmen majoring in the humanities and social sciences as well as all students in the College of Liberal Arts without declared majors.
Sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students are advised by faculty in the department of their major. Students should check in their departmental offices for appointment scheduling information.
All students ineligible for self-registration must meet with their advisors in order to register.
Boyer College of Music and Dance
- All Music students will be advised by faculty advisors in the Boyer College of Music and Dance by appointment.
- Dance students are advised in 1700 N. Broad Street, third floor.
Russell Conwell Center
Freshmen students who are advised by the Conwell Center's Student Services Counselors should make appointments with their counselors in either 1700 N. Broad Street, Room 202, or Ritter Annex Room 610, or by calling 215.204.1251. Ambler or Tyler students should see their campus advisors.
College of Science and Technology
The Office of Student Services will advise all students majoring in the sciences, mathematics, computer science, pre-pharmacy and students who are undeclared in science and technology. All first semester freshmen are required to meet with an advisor to process their initial registration. At these sessions, the advisor will discuss degree requirements and review procedures for OWLnet registration.
Students ineligible for online registration must register with an advisor. To make an appointment or obtain a schedule of walk-in times, please call the office located on the 2nd floor of 1810 Liacouras Walk at 215.204.2890.
Sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students are advised by faculty advisors in the department of their major, in collaboration with professional advisors in the Office of Student Services. Students should check in their departmental offices for appointment scheduling information.
School of Social Administration
Students will find appointment schedules posted outside faculty office doors on the 5th Floor of Ritter Annex. Students at the Harrisburg campus should make their appointments with Michele White, Student Counselor, at 717.232.3665.
School of Tourism and Hospitality Management
Students participate in group advising sessions. Times and locations will be available prior to the registration period. Individual appointments may also be scheduled by calling 215.204.8701.

- Architecture: All students will be advised by appointment by faculty advisors in the Architecture Program.

University Studies
Students in the Division of University Studies, the academic home for Undeclared, pre-Nursing and pre-Health Information Management students, are advised in the Academic Resource Center, 1810 Liacouras Walk, Suite 101.
