SUMMER BRIDGE PROGRAM 2008

The RCC provides Individual and Group Tutoring throughout the semester. Students may also join Group Study Sessions, facilitated by RCC tutors. Tutorial sessions last 1 hour and are held between the hours of 9-5pm, M-F. Evening tutoring and weekend tutoring is available via our new webcamera service. Welcome to the Russell Conwell Center (RCC). The RCC is comprehensive academic and learning center that enables students to maximize their university experience, achieve academic success, enhance or develop strong leadership skills and prepare for their future careers. The RCC is committed to help support enter and excel in college, attain their undergraduate degree, and enroll in graduate school (if that is your goal).

Student services offered in the RCC includes:

• peer mentoring
• career identification and exploration
• scholarship support
• six computer labs
• a lap-top loan program
• cultural and academic enrichment programs

In addition, the RCC sponsors six Summer Programs to help high school students prepare for college, assist entering freshmen in their transition to college, and provide undergraduate scholars with preparation for graduate school. Finally, the RCC manages the university-wide Supplemental Academic Scholarship Program, which provides over 100 scholarships to Temple undergraduate students.
