The ASP Intern will provide RCC students with academic support and assistance to increase their academic performance and facilitate their engagement in RCC events and activities.

DUTIES

• Plan academic support programs to increase student performance and persistence.
• Review academic policies and status with students.
• Assess student educational progress and assign appropriate service to meet their needs.
• Coordinate study hall participation and engagement.
• Help students identify academic interests and develop a corresponding career plan.
• Coordinate and conduct weekly workshops for students in academic jeopardy.
• Develop outreach initiatives to increase student participation.

The program will select 2-3 interns who will work 10-15 hours per week and earn $10 per hour. Interns must be at least sophomore status and have a 2.50 cumulative gradepoint average.Deadlines for application submission: March, 23, 2012
