Dear RCC Summer Bridge Students:
The Summer Bridge Opening Program begins Monday, July 7, 2008 at 8:30 a.m. in Gladfelter Hall, Room 13, located on 12th Street between Montgomery Avenue and Norris Street). You will have a full day of activity with dismissal no later than 4:00pm.
One of the important steps for you to complete prior to coming to Bridge is to meet with a RCC Counselor to schedule your fall classes. There are two methods to accomplish that. One, complete the survey on our website to register and attend Temple University New Student Orientation on June 23 - 24, 2008. On the 24th, you will be taken to the RCC to meet with a Counselor/Advisor to register for your classes. Two, complete the survey on our website to make an individual appointment with a RCC Counselor/Advisor on either June 25, 26, 27,30th and July 1, 2 and 3rd. Those appointments will fill fast. If you cannot arrange an appointment, you will be registered for your fall classes during the Summer Bridge Program.
By now you should have also registered for or attended a Pre-Bridge Workshop, began your Pre-Bridge assignments and taken the University Placement Test. If you have not taken your Placement Test, you must take it on Friday June 22, 2007 at 8:45 a.m. sharp. Report to Anderson Hall Lobby on 12th Street between Montgomery Avenue and Norris Street). You will be testing until 4:00 p.m. with an hour break for lunch. Test results are critical guidelines for us to appropriately place you in the Summer Bridge classes and to guide your course selection for the fall. Moreover, your assignments will assist your RCC Counselor in serving you in the summer and thereafter.
