Jamie Jirout will be a post-doctoral research fellow in the Department of Psychology at Temple University, and the Spatial Intelligence and Learning Center (SILC). She received her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University under the mentorship of Dr. David Klahr, where she studied young children's curiosity, question asking, and exploratory behavior. She received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Miami, where she worked with Dr. Daryl Greenfield studying Head Start children's school readiness, and the impact of an early science education program.
