Bio: Dani is a first year graduate student in developmental
psychology. She received a B.A. in
Psychology and Biology from Williams College in 2010, completing her senior
honors thesis linking the syntax and acoustics of birdsong to the brain space
for those properties. She then spent a
year working as research coordinator for a study on the use of TMS in
Alzheimer’s patients. At Temple, she is
working in the Infant Lab with Dr. Kathy Hirsh-Pasek, exploring how infants
parse the continuous world into discrete categorical units and how this process
may be foundational for verb learning.
