Bio: Judy is in her 6th year of graduate studies. She received her B.A. in psychology from the University of California, Berkeley in 2005 and her M.A. in clinical psychology from Temple University. Her current research interests include the influence of culture, ethnic minority status, and immigration on mental health. Specifically, she is interested in looking at attitudes and factors associated with culture and ethnicity that influence treatment-seeking behavior in social anxiety disorder. She is also interested in examining cultural competence in therapy. She has worked with Dr. Richard Heimberg in the Adult Anxiety Clinic, and is currently a clinical psychology intern at the San Francisco VA Medical Center.
