Mia Budescu, M.A.

Mia is currently a third year student in the Developmental Psychology program.  She received her B.A. in History from Indiana University-Bloomington, and her M.A. in Psychology from NYU. Her research interests are in the impact of poverty and other chronic stressors on family dynamics, and specifically the social-emotional development of adolescents. In addition, she is examining the effects of racial discrimination on youth as well as the moderating role of ethnic identity and ethnic socialization.   Mia is working with Dr. Ronald Taylor.
