Ingrid Olson, Ph.D., obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and her doctorate from Yale University, under the guidance of Dr. Marvin Chun. After completing a post-doctoral fellowship at Yale Medical School in the Dept. of Radiology with Dr. John Gore, she moved to the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania. She has been at Temple University since 2007.
Dr. Olson’s work is currently funded by the National Institute for Mental Health (NIMH). She is a member of the Society for Neuroscience, the Cognitive Neuroscience Society, Vision Sciences Society, and the American Psychological Society.
