Faculty: Andrew karpinski, Ph.D.
 

Andrew Karpinski, Ph.D is an assistant professor of Psychology at Temple University. Dr. Karpinski received a BS in Psychology and Mathematics from
the Ohio State University, a MS in Biostatstics from the University of Michigan, and a PhD in Psychology from University of Michigan. He takes a social cognition approach to studying social issues. His primary research interest concerns the relationship between implicit and explicit measures of attitudes, stereotypes, and self-esteem, and their relationship to behavior. Dr. Karpinski is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Psychological Society, the International Society for Self and Identity, the Society for Personality and Social Psychology, and the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues, and he is the author of numerous scholarly publications.
