Clinical Psychology Area
The Department of Psychology's Doctoral Area in Clinical Psychology is firmly rooted in the scientist-practitioner model of training. It is designed to provide students with a variety of research and clinical experiences, with an emphasis on the mutually supportive interplay of clinical research and practice. It is our philosophy that clinical psychologists should think like scientists in their clinical practice and like clinicians in their research, ultimately bringing the best of both worlds to consumers of psychological services.
