The National Park Service Seasonal Law Enforcement Training Program at Temple University is an accredited program recognized for its adherence to the body of standards established by the Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation (FLETA) Board. FLETA’s mission is to administer an accreditation process to foster consistency in federal law enforcement training and to instill public confidence in federal law enforcement by providing assistance and ensuring compliance with established accreditation standards. FLETA accreditation includes a process of peer and professional review consistent with quality assurance and quality improvement. Temple University and six other U.S. institutions of higher education are currently accredited by FLETA and authorized by the National Park Service to offer Seasonal Law Enforcement Training Program curriculum.

Temple University SLETP was awarded initial accreditation in November 2011 and is expected to receive re-accreditation in April 2016.
