Temple University welcomes nearly 2000 international students from more than 110 countries. The International Student and Scholar Services in the Office of International Affairs will assist with immigration regulations, as well as help students acclimate to life at Temple University and in the United States.
Prospective Students
The International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) division provides F-1 or J-1 student visas to prospective international students. Eligibility documents, (I-20s for F-1 visas or DS-2019s for J-1 visas) are available from Temple University. International students interested in pursuing a degree at Temple University should visit the admissions section for undergraduate, graduate, and dual Bachelor's Master's degree application information. Non-degree opportunities (exchange or study abroad at Temple) are also explained further in the admissions section. Those interested in taking courses for English as a second language, should visit the Intensive English Language Program section.
Current Students
The International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) division serves international students who are currently enrolled or will enroll soon at Temple University. Information on maintaining a valid student status while in the United States, as well as existing international services can be found on the ISSS web site.
