Cyprus Fulbright Commission
A collaboration between the State Department, International Visitor's Council and Temple University will bring ten Greek and ten Turkish Cypriot high school counselors to Temple University Main Campus on July 21st. The program goal is to learn about the U.S. system of higher education, the admissions process and campus life through local campus visits and meetings. Currently, the program sends students to study abroad in the UK and Australia.

Chunguang Bai, a Ph.D. student at Dalian University of Technology in China, is participating in training and research with Mark Gershon, of the Department of Management Science/Operations Management at the Fox School of Business. Her research probes critical chain project scheduling management analyses.

Guochen Pan, of Wuhan University in China, is participating in training and research with David Cummins, of the Department of Risk, Insurance and Healthcare Management at the Fox School of Business. Pan is conducting research comparing auto insurance systems across different countries.

Hee Chan Lee, associate professor at the College of Tourism in Sejong University in South Korea is a visting adjunct associate professor in Temple’s School of Tourism and Hospitality Management. Seoki Lee, of the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, is his faculty mentor. Lee’s research focuses on tourist behavior and demand for gambling by Korean visitors to Las Vegas, NV.

Sathyajit Gubbi Ramaswamiah, a doctoral student from Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta, India, is a Fulbright scholar conducting research on international acquisitions of Indian firms with Associate Professor of General and Strategic Management Mitrabarun Sarkar at the Fox School.

Yong-Young Kim, a post-doctoral fellow at the Seoul National University in Korea, is conducting research with Youngjin Yoo, of the Department of Management Information Systems at the Fox School of Business. Kim is studying changes in user behaviors, including beliefs, attitudes and satisfaction, before and after adopting Information Systems, particularly, in a ubiquitous computing environment.
