Temple University has a strong commitment to global educational exchange, and the Intensive English Language Program can help international visitors achieve their goal to more effectively communicate with others around the world in English for a variety of purposes.
Temple invites international groups to take advantage of what the Intensive English Language Program has to offer. Depending on the group, participants may choose from one of the following options:
- To be placed into appropriate levels of language proficiency and then integrated into our year-round program with students from all over the world
- Plan to attend certain regularly scheduled classes, which meet throughout the year, and to collaborate with the Coordinator of International Programming to customize additional classes to satisfy the group's particular professional, socio-cultural, and language needs
- Work with the Coordinator of International Programs to design a distinct, specialized program specifically created to meet the needs of the group
