IELP Excel is designed for international students who are preparing for university admission in the United States. Students in the program will be able to simultaneously enroll in English language courses, including TOEFL preparation, and credit-bearing university courses from the program they want to pursue.
During the course of study, students will meet and get to know Temple faculty and have access to TOEFL preparation, academic counseling, and advising for admission into Temple or other universities. Temple University's facilities and student events are open to student enrolled in IELP programs. They will also have the opportunity to participate in field trips to Washington D.C., New York City, cultural and historical places in and around Philadelphia.
For students who successfully complete the IELP and the selected university course, they will receive a certificate and an official university transcript.
