Access Temple Program Structure
There are 3 semesters in Access Temple.
- Academic Bridge Semester
- University Bound Semester
- Step into Temple Semester
The Access Temple placement test will be used to determine whether students will begin in either the Academic Bridge Semester or the University Bound Semester. Access Temple students successfully completing the University Bound semester will be automatically admitted to the University without the qualifying TOEFL or IELTS scores that other international students must submit.
The Step Into Temple Semester is an optional part of the program exclusively for students who have completed the University Bound semester successfully, and is highly recommended by the university. In the Step Into Temple semester, you will have the opportunity to complete the First-Year Writing requirement that all Temple undergraduates must pass. International (and American) students receiving full admission and starting their degrees are often unprepared for the challenges of these required courses. Access Temple students complete these Freshman Writing courses before beginning their university studies, earning the credits needed so that they can focus exclusively on their majors upon full university admission.Accesss Temple University Bound
