Institutional TOEFL
All Global Programs students who intend to enroll in academic coursework at Temple University must submit a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 79. Students who do not meet this standard may participate in the Intensive English Language Program beginning in either the Summer II semester or the Fall I semester.
The Intensive English Language Program (IELP) administers the Institutional Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) three times every year in May, August, and December. This paper-based TOEFL has three parts: listening, structure, and reading. The results of this test can be submitted to the Global Programs Office for approval to enroll in academic coursework.
This test is FREE for Global Programs students enrolled in the Intensive English Language Program. For further information about the Institutional TOEFL, please contact Dennis Serge at: 215.204.2365 or dserge@temple.edu.
