Hai-Lung Dai came to Temple University as Dean of the College of Science and Technology in 2007. In November 2009, Dean Dai accepted an additional appointment as Senior Vice Provost for International Affairs. In this role, Dean Dai leads international initiatives and oversees three divisions: Education Abroad and Overseas Campuses (outbound), which manages study abroad and coordinates interaction between overseas and main campuses; Global Partnerships and Programs (inbound), which facilitates and manages partnerships with foreign institutions and collaborative educational programs and assists with foreign student recruitment; and International Student and Scholar Services (inbound), which provides visas and other services to assist international students and scholars. Denise Connerty |

Denise Connerty joined Temple University in 1990 as assistant director of International Programs and has continued to expand her career in international education since then. Connerty leads the Education Abroad and Overseas Campuses division, which is responsible for administering all Temple-sponsored outbound study abroad programs, serving as a liaison between Temple’s main campus and Temple’s campuses in Rome and Tokyo, and advising Temple students on study abroad program and scholarship opportunities. Connerty also provides expertise to the Temple University community on matters concerning international education, and responds to interest in international activities on the part of Temple students and faculty. |

Brooke Walker |

Brooke Walker joined the Office of International Affairs in December 2009, after a career in development and alumni affairs at Temple University. Walker oversees inbound student and faculty affairs, including International Admissions for Undergraduates, International Student and Scholar Services (VISA and immigration), the Intensive English Language Program, and Global Programs (Dual Bachelor’s Master’s Degree Program, Inbound Study Abroad and Inbound Exchanges). As head of Global Partnerships and Programs, Walker facilitates MOUs and contracts between universities and organizations and manages international delegation visits to Temple and abroad for university leadership and community. Walker is committed to collaborating with leadership, faculty, administrators and students to advance Temple’s globalization effort. |

Alexandra Grinshpun |

Alexandra Grinshpun joined International Affairs in 2011 as the Manager for Finance and Accounting. She is responsible for developing and managing the International Affairs budget, as well as sub-unit budgets, and responds to the financial needs of each unit. Grinshpun also works closely with Temple Human Resources on all employment-related developments within the department. In addition, Grinshpun ensures the department is in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. |

Ingrid Spangler |

Ingrid Spangler came to Temple University in 2005 and worked as part of the alumni and development communications team until December 2010 when she joined the Office of International Affairs. Spangler produces and manages print and web-based communications for the four units housed under the Office of International Affairs: Education Abroad and Overseas Campuses, International Student and Scholar Services, Intensive English Language Program, and Global Partnerships and Programs. The publications produced are mostly promotional in nature, providing both internal and external audiences with information on Temple University’s expanding global initiatives. |

Owen Jones |

Owen Jones first joined the Temple University community in 2003 as an undergraduate student and has continued his professional career at Temple University since then. Jones first worked in Temple's Office of Special Events until March 2011 when he joined the Office of International Affairs. Jones is the advisor and coordinator for the international study abroad and student exchange programs. Jones also serves as the administrative liaison for the four units housed under the Office of International Affairs: Education Abroad and Overseas Campuses, International Student and Scholar Services, Intensive English Language Program, and Global Partnerships and Programs. |
