Three prominent figures with deep ties to the Philadelphia area will be honored during Temple University's 128th Commencement ceremony on May 8 at 10 a.m on Main Campus. They are Malcolm Hoenlein, CLA '65, and Kevin Negandhi, SMC '98, both Temple alumni, and James Joo-Jin Kim.
U.S. Senator Bob Casey honored Temple Law School Dean Epps for her work to advance access to justice and for inspiring and empowering new attorneys to emulate her commitment to service, integrity, and passion. She was also named one of the most influential minority attorneys in the nation.
When Philadelphia was selected to host the 2016 Democratic National Convention, media outlets contacted the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management. Associate Dean Elizabeth Barber said the benefits to the city will extend far beyond economic opportunity.
