Arranging on-campus interviews

To schedule on-campus interviews:

  • Make requests online through the OWLNETWORK at least 3 weeks prior to interview date(s), or contact Jim McLauglin at (215) 204-7981 or recruit@temple.edu
  • Be sure all of your contact information is up to date and accurate.
  • Have job titles ready when the initial request is made.
  • Have available any special instructions for students, such as information sessions.

If choosing a open schedule:

  • Make requests online through the OWLNETWORK at least 3 weeks prior to interview date(s).
  • Any student that fits the criteria will be allowed to sign up for a time slot until 3 days prior to the interview date.

Third Party Recruiting          

Organizations providing recruiting services for a fee will be required to inform career services of the specific employer they represent and the specific job(s) for which they are recruiting, and will permit verification of the information. Any disclosure of student information outside of the third-party recruiting organization and the company they are representing will be with prior consent of the student. Third-party recruiters that charge fees to students will not be permitted access to career services

OWLNETWORK Instruction

Please review the OWLNETWORK Instructions document for details about posting your job description, receiving and reviewing resumes, and making pre-selections.

Preselect deadlines

If Preselects are not made prior to the deadline, your schedule will be converted to an OPEN schedule where any student that fits the criteria may sign up for an interview.

Print resumes

Companies should print all resumes of students you have selected to interview and bring the resumes with you to campus.

Company literature

Please provide your website on the OWLNETWORK for students to do research on you, as we do not keep marketing materials for them to review.

Interview Rooms

Interviews take place in the Career Center located in Mitten Hall, Room 220.  Interview rooms are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Hours of Operation

The Career Center will be open to recruiters starting at 8:00am for checking in and interviews from 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday.

Changes and Cancellations


For canceling an interview date, notify the career center immediately (215) 204-7981.   E-mail ALL students already on your schedule, letting them know you are canceling and if you will be rescheduling for another date.

For canceling an information session, notify Jim McLaughlin at (215) 204-7981.  If this is not done within 72 hours of your Information Session date, you will be charged for the room. Also, contact the career center in order to remove the information from the system.

If contact information changes, please notify the career center.

Directions and Accomodations


For guests visiting the Career Center for on-campus interviews or other individually scheduled recruiting visits, limited parking is available in the Liacouras Garage.

To Temple University’s Main Campus

From the Pennsylvania Turnpike:
Take Exit 326 (Philadelphia/Valley Forge). Follow I-76 East (Schuylkill Expy.) approx. 18 miles to Exit 344 (Central Philadelphia/I-676)

Note: Exit is on left. Follow I-676 approximately 1 mile to Central Phila./Broad Street exit.

Take Broad Street exit (stay to left). In one block go left onto Broad Street. Follow Broad Street to Cecil B. Moore (approx. 2 miles). Turn right onto Cecil B. Moore and right again onto Park Ave. Visitors Parking Lot 3 entrance is on right. You may also park at the Liacouras Center Parking Garage, located at 15th Street and Montgomery Avenue.

From the Northeast Extension (Pennsylvania Turnpike):
Take Exit 20 to I-476 South to I-76. Exit at I-76 East (approx. 5 miles). Take I-76 East approx. 15 miles to Exit 344 (Central Philadelphia/I-676) Note: Exit is on left. Follow directions from I-676 above.

From I-95 North:
Take Exit 22 (Central Philadelphia/I-676).  Follow Central Philadelphia signs to Broad Street exit. At next intersection (Vine Street) turn left. In one block, turn left onto Broad Street. Follow Broad Street to Cecil B. Moore (approx. 2 miles). Turn right onto Cecil B. Moore and right again onto Park Ave. Visitors Parking Lot 3 is on right. You may also park at the Liacouras Center Parking Garage, located at 15th Street and Montgomery Avenue.

From I-95 South:
Take Exit 22 (Central Philadelphia/I-676).   Note: left lane exit. I-676 West to Broad Street exit. See above directions from Broad Street exit.

From the New Jersey Turnpike:
Take Exit 4 to route 73 North. Approx. 1 mile to Route 38 West. Follow for 51⁄2 miles to Benjamin Franklin Bridge. Take I-676 West to Broad Street exit. Follow above directions from Broad Street exit.

Public Transportation to Temple’s Main Campus:
- SEPTA Regional High Speed Lines: All lines stop at Temple University Station, 10th and Berks Streets.

- Broad Street Subway: All local trains stop at Cecil B. Moore Station (Broad Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue).

- “C” Bus: Stops on Broad Street at Cecil B. Moore Avenue, Montgomery Avenue, Berks Mall, and Norris Street.

- “3” Bus: Stops on Cecil B. Moore Avenue from 11th Street to Broad Street.

- “23” Bus: Stops on 12th Street (southbound) and 11th Street (northbound) at Berks Mall, Montgomery Avenue, and Cecil B. Moore Avenue.
