Temple, a place for collaboration, growth, enlightenment, entertainment and discovery, is a destination for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors from the Greater Philadelphia region and around the world. The university's multiple campuses reflect unique identities with shared values and aspirations for excellence.
Strategies
The Temple 20/20 framework (PDF) proposes campus revitalization with a vision for enhanced spaces in which to live, learn and create, promoting greater community engagement.
Outcomes
- Opened Tyler School of Art on main campus, new Medical School building, Fox School of Business' Alter Hall and renovated Boyer College of Music's Presser Hall
- Expanded arts performances on campus to new Tyler School
- Welcomed new businesses within and around the Temple community
- Implementing Phase I of the Temple 20/20 framework (PDF) to revitalize the physical presence of Temple University—USB is down in preparation for a new residence hall and McGonigle/Pearson expansion underway
- Introduced Provost's Art Collection to highlight outstanding student artwork
