Oversee student recruitment, admissions and retention, Institutional Research, Measurement and Research Center, University Registrar and Student Financial Services.

Directs undergraduate programs and academic affairs including the Academic Resource Center, Continuing Education, University Studies, the Math and Science Resource Center, Pre-Professional Health Studies, ROTC, the Russell Conwell Center, the Student Athlete Academic Advising and Support Center, the University Honors Program and the Writing Center.

Manages accreditation, periodic program review and outcomes assessment. Provides oversight of proposals for academic program, curriculum and unit changes at all stages of the approval process including Board of Trustees and its committees.

Manage and develop research and graduate education, including cultivating relationships and increasing research dollars allocated to Temple, leading the growth and implementation of new research opportunities and developing large, interdisciplinary research program opportunities in all relevant academic fields.

Oversees student co-curricular offices, programs and services that support the collegiate experience, such as Campus Recreation, Disability Resources and Services, Greek Life, Health Education (HEART), Housing and Residential Life, Student Activities, Student Centers, Student Media, Tuttleman Counseling Services and the Dean of Students.

Lead communications related to implementation of the academic strategic plan (Academic Compass) for the Temple community and integrate Temple 20/20 framework into the Academic Compass; direct selected university strategic initiatives of the president and provost including the Career Center and Convocation.
