Supporting the mission, vision and values of the university, the office oversees accreditation, periodic program review and serves as a clearinghouse for data, research and assessment processes. The data generated supports the academic and financial planning of the institution, and changes in policies and practices. The information for campus and external constituents maintains institutional memory and ensures data integrity. Among data furnished by the office: Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) reporting, enrollment forecasting, and retention and graduation statistics.

Institutional Research & Assessment
The Department of Institutional Research provides information support to the senior administration of Temple University for the purpose of planning, decision making, and policy formation. In addition, this Department collects, analyzes and presents information to a broad spectrum of information consumers. It also monitors the accuracy and integrity of vital University statistics.
