About the Office
Temple is a Doctoral/Research-Extensive (formerly "Research I") University with 17 schools and colleges offering academic programs in 2 associate degree areas, 130 bachelor's degree areas, 110 master's degree areas, 50 doctoral degree areas, and 5 first professional degree areas. Temple is the sixth largest producer of first professional degrees in the nation through the Schools of Law, Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Podiatric Medicine.
The Provost oversees all academic support programs, including the libraries, the Teaching and Learning Center, On-Line Learning, the Temple University Press and many research centers and institutes. In addition to its international campuses in Tokyo and Rome, Temple University offers international education programs around the world in cities such as London, Paris, Beijing, and Tel Aviv.
