Jodi Levine Laufgraben is Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and Assessment. In this role she oversees accreditation management, periodic program review and assessment planning. She facilitates outcomes assessment across the university and works with the schools and colleges throughout all stages of academic program development and change.

Dr. Laufgraben received her BA in Political Science (1988) and Master of Science in Higher Education (1989) from Syracuse University and her EdD in Educational Administration from Temple University in 1995. Dr. Laufgraben is an instructor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, teaching courses in higher education and planning.

Dr. Laufgraben has been at Temple University for more than 20 years previously serving as Associate Vice Provost and Director of Periodic Program Review from 2004 to 2010, Assistant Vice Provost for University Studies from 1999 to 2004, and Director of Learning Communities and First-Year Programs from 1994 to 1999. She began her Temple career as an academic adviser at the Ambler Campus from 1990 to 1994.

As Temple’s accreditation liaison officer to the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, she recently led the university’s successful 2009-10 reaccreditation effort. She was a member of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education’s Advisory Panel on Student Learning and Assessment that assisted in the development of the 2003 publication, “Student Learning Assessment.”
