I am an Assistant Professor (Instructional) in the Political Science Department and have also taught at Temple's Fox business school. My doctorate in politics is from George Washington University and I specialize in comparative & international political economy, and public policy in liberal market economies such as Britain and the US. My current research interests are the uses of international comparative argument in political discourse.

I joined Temple from GWU in 2000. Prior to graduate school I was a policy analyst in Washington D.C. for Tokyo Electric Power Company and a contract researcher for National Council of La Raza.  As a much younger person, I studied Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Oxford (Hertford College). I came to the United States in 1989, in part to escape the poll tax, and in part for the allegedly better weather.
