Students wishing to take a minor in physics should take eight semester hours of introductory physics with laboratory (Physics 087 and Physics 088 or equivalent), Electricity and Magnetism (PH 187-187L) or Electromagnetic Fields and Waves (EE 220), Introduction to Modern Physics (PH 188-188L), and six additional semester hours of physics courses.html at or above the 0100 level, chosen with the approval of the undergraduate adviser.
