About Jaime Alvarez

Jaime Alvarez is a 27-year-old artist living in Philadelphia. He shares a studio space with another artist in the Fishtown section of the city, and there he works on his photography, art, and drawings. Jaime has a MFA in Photography from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, MI, and a BFA in Photography from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in Providence, RI. Jaime has held many jobs and has plenty of experience in the fields of art and photography. He also has a great passion for his work and it is evident in his interview and in his portfolio. Jaime is also deeply interested in philosophy and matters of social anthropology, and therefore his photographic work takes on much more depth than being simply a picture.
