1998- Recipient of a $10,000 commission from MD Anderson Cancer Center to create portraits and essays of breast cancer survivors

1998- Recipient of a $30,000 commission from the State of California Department of Health Services for a documentary promoting nutrition and physical activity among limited income families.

1998- Recipient of a $1,300 Individual Artist Grant from the Pinellas County Arts Council.

2002- Recipient of a $25,000 Public Art Commission from the city of Tampa to create a photo-documentary about the city of Tampa.
