Gluck // Ramadi // National Guardsmen of the First Battalion, 124th Infantry, spend the summer of 2003 sleeping during the day and conducting walking patrols at night. They've let locals know their policy is "shoot first, ask questions later." All 512 men will return alive - something no other U.S. infantry battalion can claim.
