Mission Statement: The Adult Anxiety Clinic of Temple is a treatment, research and training clinic. Affiliated with the Temple University Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program, our mission is to provide accurate information and effective treatment for adults with anxiety disorders. Research at the Clinic is sometimes funded by the National Institute of Mental Health and is often aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of treatments of social anxiety disorder and generalized anxiety disorder.

Concerned you may suffer from social or generalized anxiety? First, use this site to learn more about social anxiety disorder and generalized anxiety disorder and whether you are suffering with common symptoms. Next, if you're interested in seeking treatment at our clinic, call us at (215) 204-1575 to learn about treatment options. You may be eligible to participate in one of our current studies . If not, we provide treatment on a sliding scale to the community. We are currently concentrating our efforts on treating persons with social anxiety disorder, but depending on funding and current projects, we sometimes provide treatment for persons with other anxiety disorders as well.
