Interested in rushing Fall 2008?

Do you have between 12 and 80 credits and a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above?

Phi Sigma Pi distinguishes itself as an HONOR FRATERNITY open to students of all majors.  The essential difference between an honor fraternity and an honor society is that an honor society is an association rather than an organization, and it functions mainly to recognize the past academic achievements of its potential members.  The honor fraternity seeks to cultivate the strengths of its members in order to better serve the community in which it operates, both presently and in the future. In order to achieve their goals, Brothers of Phi Sigma Pi must show dedication to and respect for education and academic excellence.

Do you want to meet more people at Temple and at other colleges and universities?

Success in life is not simply dependent upon what you know, but also who you know.  Phi Sigma Pi offers its members a unique opportunity to meet people both at Temple and at other colleges and universities across the country who have achieved similar academic status in a variety of majors and backgrounds.  Phi Sigma Pi is built on the concept of brotherhood, which exists regardless of gender, race, religion, or ethnicity.  Brothers find themselves in the atmosphere of a family unit, and can feel free to face their challenges knowing that others are concerned for their well being.

Do you want to be part of a group that serves the community AND knows how to party?

One of the chief purposes of the fraternity is to promote and advance the welfare of humanity by applying the professional and leadership skills of its members to areas of the community which might benefit from such assistance.  Brothers of Phi Sigma Pi often volunteer time at soup kitchens and hospitals, sponsor and participate in AIDS walks, and take part in neighborhood clean-up efforts.

But rest assured, Phi Sigma Pi can party as hard as it works.  Brotherhood is fostered at social events which occur throughout the year.  Formals, movies, road trips, dinners, and of course PARTIES keep things fun and exciting.

Does this sound like an organization you might want to be part of?

Then come to one of our Info meetings! You just missed Spring 2008 rush, but we'd love to see you for Fall 2008!
