
The Department has available Teaching Assistantships, Research Assistantships, and Academic Internships. Some Fellowships are also offered in University-wide competition. There are also Future Faculty Fellowships awarded to qualified minority students.These and other forms of fellowship aid are described in the Graduate School Bulletin. The many colleges in the Philadelphia area also provide opportunities for students to earn additional income and gain adjunct teaching experience while pursuing their graduate work at Temple.
Applications for fall admission to the graduate program should be received by January 15, in order to be considered for financial aid. Applications forms and instructions are available online at http://www.temple.edu/grad/admissions/howtoapply.htm. Application fees are waived for McNair Scholars and Project 1000 applicants.
