Tom Rosica started Rosica Pharmaceutical Technical Services LLC (RPTS), in 2003 and serves as the Managing Principal. RPTS is a private technical services contracting company that provides a diverse scope of manufacturing solutions to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Mr. Rosica has over 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, which includes providing leadership in technology transfer, product development, quality assurance, and manufacturing. He spent his entire career working in pilot plants and manufacturing plants, giving him a unique perspective on the practical application of sound regulatory practices. He has led or assisted in over 15 FDA general and pre-approval inspections. Previously he has worked for 3 major pharmaceutical companies; Wyeth, Novartis and Pfizer. His last positions at Pfizer, prior to founding RPTS, were Director of Pharmaceutical Technology and Director of Quality Operations respectively. In 2001, he was awarded Pfizer’s President Award for Technical Leadership. Mr. Rosica has a B.S. in Pharmacy from Temple University School of Pharmacy and is a licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is a member of The International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers and the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists.
