Preeti Pinto, MS, MT (ASCP) is the Sr. Director and Head of Promotional Regulatory Affairs at AstraZeneca. She oversees the department of the Promotional Regulatory Affairs and is responsible for regulatory compliance of all product promotional and marketing activities for the US business. She also provides strategic regulatory advise to US business on product promotion and policy issues. Ms. Pinto began her career as a Medical Technologist and Laboratory Supervisor at number of Hospitals. Prior to joining AstraZeneca in 1998, she held a number of positions at DuPont Pharmaceuticals in Drug Safety Assessment and Regulatory Affairs. While at DuPont, she was responsible for submission and approval of several efficacy supplemental applications and labeling enhancements for major marketed products. Ms. Pinto received her B.S. in Microbiology with honors from Bombay University and M.S. in Biology with honors from Eastern Michigan University. She is also an ASCP Board certified Medical Technologist and a Specialist in Hematology. Preeti lives in West Chester with her husband and two children.
