Patrick Genyn is the Senior Director for Strategy and Planning in the
Integrated Data Services department of Johnson & Johnson’s Global
Clinical Operations Organization.
Patrick started his career in the pharmaceutical industry in 1987 at the
Janssen Research Foundation in Belgium, part of the Johnson & Johnson
family of companies, as a project leader in Information Technology. He
moved to clinical R&D more than 10 years ago and held various positions
of increasing scope and responsibility in Clinical Systems Development,
Clinical Data Management and Biometrics. The main focus of his current
job is to explore, design and implement an effective and efficient new
business model for clinical data management that will meet the
increasing requirements and complexities of clinical trials as a result
of increased regulation, standardization, globalization, technology etc
