Linda Bowen
|
Morristown, NJ. Prior to joining Bayer in 2004, she was Associate Director,
Integration Projects and Gap Analysis, at GlaxoSmithKline. She joined GSK
(formerly Block Drug Company) as a microbiologist in 1985, worked in both QC and QA, before moving in 1993 to the International Regulatory Affairs group, where she had responsibility for the registration of drugs, medical devices and
cosmetics in Canada, Eastern Europe and the Asia-Pacific Region. Linda holds
bachelor's degrees in microbiology and English from Rutgers College, Rutgers
University, New Brunswick, NJ and a MSc in Drug Regulatory Affairs from Long
Island University's Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy. She is a
member of Rho Chi, the National Pharmaceutical Honor Society, on the Board of
Editors for the RAPS publication "Fundamentals in Canadian Regulatory Affairs",
past co-chair of the global briefings track (2002 and 2005 Annual RAPs Meetings)
and the first Canadian RAPs Conference (July 2004), has RAC certification for
both the US (2001) and EU (2003), has been a member of Who's Who in American Women since 1999 and has been an adjunct professor in International Regulatory Affairs at Temple University's School of Pharmacy QA/RA Master's Degree Program since 2000.
