G. Evan Boswell currently works for Pfizer as a Senior Scientist where he provides troubleshooting production support to the manufacturing plant and evaluates the impact of GMP deviations.  His 27 years in the industry span drug discovery, process optimization, synthesis of clinical trial supplies, and project management.  This work has yielded numerous patented discoveries in the therapeutic areas of: antidepressants, neuromuscular blockers, opioid receptor analgesics, PPAR-gamma agonists for treatment of diabetes, and novel steroids for asthma treatment.  He has both a B. S. and M. S. in Chemistry.  Post graduate work includes courses on medicinal chemistry at UNC-Chapel Hill, and coursework for a Certificate in Drug Development from Temple University.
