Michael Borenstein is Associate Dean of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Temple University School of Pharmacy. His degrees in liberal arts, pharmacy, medicinal chemistry, and post-doctoral experiences in neuropharmacology and heterocyclic Chemistry have enabled him to do research on the development and application of analytical techniques to solve problems relating to formulation and drug disposition. He is Director of the Drug Research Unit (DRU) at the School of Pharmacy, an interdisciplinary group established to foster collaborative research projects with industry and other schools at Temple. He has published in refereed journals, presented his work in national and international symposia, and is active in many scientific and educational organizations.
