To Our Preceptors:
Temple University School of Pharmacy thanks you for your continued commitment to our Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience program.
In order to plan for the 2010-2011 academic year, we would like to confirm your continued interest to serve as a preceptor for our fourth professional year Doctor of Pharmacy students. Attached you will find a schedule of the rotation dates [.doc ] available to our students. If there are specific time blocks that you would NOT be able to accommodate a student, please indicate that on the form. In order to accomplish this goal, we would appreciate having the completed form returned to my attention. (fax #215-707-8326)
We understand that staffing situations sometimes change and that these changes may affect your ability to accept a student. Should a situation arise that would temporarily postpone your site from accepting a student, please let us know at your earliest convenience.
Those of you who have been associated with Temple for any length of time know full well how much we count on your participation as “volunteer” preceptors, and we are most appreciative of the contributions you make to the education and development of our pharmacy students. At this time, I am pleased to announce that each preceptor will have the opportunity to formally submit an application for appointment as an adjunct faculty member of Temple University School of Pharmacy. You must complete the Adjunct Faculty Application Form [.pdf ] and submit a copy of your resume.
Once again thank you for participating in the experiential component of our curriculum and for helping us make the students’ selection process as meaningful as possible.
