The Temple University School of Pharmacy invites
applications for a tenure track appointment in the Department of
Pharmacy Practice at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The
level of appointment will be based on individual qualifications.
Applicants should hold a Pharm.D., Ph.D., or equivalent degree. The
successful candidate must have demonstrated expertise in
pharmaocoepidemiology, pharmacovigilance, clinical research, or
regulatory affairs and an aptitude for teaching. Responsibilities will
include providing instruction in the Doctor of Pharmacy degree program
and at the graduate level, and the establishment of a vigorous research
program. Opportunities for collaborative research with pharmacy and
medical clinicians are abundant.
Temple University is in the midst of unprecedented growth with the goal
to significantly enhance its research capability. The School of Pharmacy
houses a Core Facility for Pharmacokinetics and Bioanalysis, and is
engaged in several collaborative research relationships with colleagues
in the School of Medicine and Temple University Hospital. The
