Dr Stuart Wesbury to be inducted into
the Health Care Hall of Fame

 

Dr. Stuart Wesbury, B.S. ’55, will be one of this year’s honorees of the Health Care Hall of Fame. The Health Care Hall of Fame, sponsored by Modern Healthcare, was founded in the late 1980’s to celebrate individuals who have contributed their lives to improving the health of people in this country and around the world.

Dr. Wesbury has been in healthcare for over fifty years. He has worked as a pharmacist, a hospital administrator, a university professor, as a consultant and as the president/CEO of an international professional society. He has served in the United States Public Health Service, where he holds the rank of Captain.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science from the Temple School of Pharmacy, Dr. Wesbury went on to earn an MA at the University of Michigan in hospital administration and a PhD in Economics from the University of Florida.

We at the Temple University School of Pharmacy are extremely proud that Dr. Wesbury is one of our graduates and we are honored by his active support of the School. He gives tirelessly of his time and talents in promoting the School and serves as Co-Chair of the Board of Visitors. He will also receive the School’s Certificate of Honor at the 2005 Founder’s Dinner. Dr. Wesbury recently relocated from Arizona to Pennsylvania, where he lives with his wife June.
