Temple
University School of Pharmacy hosted a milestone event, the Pennsylvania State Board of
Pharmacy meeting on Wednesday, April 20, 2005 in room 414 of the
Pharmacy School.
This was the first time the Board had ever conducted one of their meetings
at a school of pharmacy. Temple School of Pharmacy is proud to have been
chosen as the site to begin their new endeavor.
It was through the cooperation of Temple University School of Pharmacy, the
Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy and Basil Merenda, Commissioner of
Professional and Occupational Licensure that this sentinel meeting
occurred. The meeting offered the perfect opportunity for students,
faculty and alumni to meet the people that regulate the profession of
pharmacy and to exchange ideas for the betterment of patients.
